databases

Becker Library has developed links to tutorials and tips for the major database resources that it subscribes to. These links are developed with you, the user community, in mind. The tutorials are designed to be used as self-paced learning opportunities to get more familiar with the nuances and features of the databases. Additionally, a user can utilize these tutorials to reinforce a usage method or feature learned in a class session. These are mainly “database provider” tutorials, tips and help guides.

The tutorials can be accessed anywhere from the Becker web site by using the “QuickLinks” dropdown menu in the left navigation bar and clicking on “Tutorials.” The tutorials can also be accessed from the Research Assistance page and selecting “Using Reference Resources – Tutorials and Tips.

Also remember that you can get more help with specific databases by consulting with your library liaison, by calling the information services desk at 314-362-7085, or by sending an e-mail to askreference@msnotes.wustl.edu.
