Library Liaison Program
The Becker Medical Library has established the Library Liaison Program which partners a professional librarian with a specific department, division or program. The liaisons will become familiar with the wants and needs of their constituency, work with faculty and staff to leverage library resources and services, and ensure there is an open communication pathway between the library and its users. While you can always contact any library staff member, choosing the liaison associated with your department is the best way to reach a professional familiar with your department and its needs.
What can the liaison do for you?
- Answer factual questions
- Provide resources and services to support teaching, patient care, and research
- Direct you to the best resources
- Instruct you in their effective use
- Consult with you on all your information needs
