Description: Portrait of Maurice J. Lonsway, Jr., M.D., by Gilbert Gordon Early, 1993. Oil on canvas, framed, total dimensions 49 x 38.5 inches. A brass plaque on the base of the frame reads: “MAURICE J. LONSWAY, M.D. / Medical Staff / Distinguished Service Award / 1993.” Lonsway joined the clinical faculty in pediatrics in 1954. He is currently a professor of clinical pediatrics.
